Your essential checking account for college

Find out if StudentFirst Checking is right for you

Buying your books and picking your classes aren’t the only things on your mind as you set off for school. You need an easy, convenient way to manage and access your money. StudentFirst Checking offers checking with no monthly maintenance fees.  Also, First Niagara will not charge you for using any domestic (U.S. & Canada) ATM, AND we will rebate up to five domestic ATM fees charged by other banks as well.1

You can also avoid the $5 per month charge for receiving paper statements by enrolling in Online Banking and signing up for eStatements.

Our representatives are visiting colleges and universities to offer a convenient way to sign up. But if you don’t spot us at your school, visit one of our branches.  Locate a branch
